COALVILLE TOWN PLAN £60,000 REVAMP OF OWEN STREET GROUND.
We have begun the next stage of our progression up the football pyramid by submitting plans to North West Leicestershire District Council for a £60,000 development of our home ground Owen Sreet.
The Ravens are gunning for promtion to the Midland Football Alliance this season after they were unable to go up last year despite winning the the Everalds Senior League title. Promotion was denied because the required standards for the Alliance was not in place.
However, the club was told that if they bring their ground up to standard and finish in the top two of the Senior League this season, they will be in a postion to be promoted. On the pitch the team hasn't lost a league game this season and currently sit in second place, so development plans have been revealed.
The application submitted is for the erection of three more spectator stands, the mojarity of which would be all seater, a new single storey building at hte entrance to the ground that would host turnstiles, new spectator toilet facilities, catering outlet, a temporary portable building which will be a temporary boardroom, a commitee room and a 2.4, high fencing that will surround the whole ground.
