Coalville Town have won an appeal to have a lottery grant of around £20,000 to help build on its security issues.

Richard Gerald has joined the club from Highfield Rangers and come on for the second half and made an immediate impact against Atherstone.

Coalville Town make their debuts, in the FA Vase, on the 21st September in the second qualifying round, at home to Mickleover Sports FC.

Coalville Town Striker Ian Pitt, has left the club to sign for Barwell in the Midland Alliance Football League. Everyone at Coalville wishes to thank Ian for his services to the club over the past two seasons.

Coalville Town's Rich Saunders has been linked with a move to Dr.Martens Western league side Shepshed Dynamo. The raiders have been forced to look further down the pyramid for local talent due to a restriction on wage bill and may see the highly rated striker has an ideal signing. Boss Lee Harriman however has insisted his striker is staying at the club for the time being.
